My first assignment of 2010 was a memorable one -- on Jan. 5, I photographed Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and First Lady Mary Pawlenty for Christianity Today magazine. The art director asked for genuine, relaxed moments, and as you can see, we managed to make the shoot casual and fun. The Pawlentys impressed me as kind, down-to-earth people, and I'd gladly photograph them again.
